I bet there won’t be shows like this at Pita Pit or Sonic.

In recycling news, “plastics professionals” are espousing plasma gasification as THE solution. ”
In plasma gasification, feedstock (trash) is introduced into a vessel of extremely high heat (~2,000 deg F) capable of breaking all organic chemical bond and reducing all trash including plastic, paper, glass, yard waste, food, filth, etc. to basic elements. The heat also melts metals, which are recovered.

Legal Attempts To Force Councilperson Agelasto From Office Fail
Judge William R. Marchant declined to issue a declaratory judgment deeming Agelasto’s seat on the City Council vacant after his move last year. Seeking the judgment was former Councilman Henry “Chuck” Richardson, who is among a field of candidates vying to replace Agelasto on the nine-member council in a special election scheduled for November.
…
A separate challenge by another former councilman, Sa’ad El-Amin, also encountered a procedural stumbling block earlier this summer. El-Amin resubmitted his challenge in July, but no hearing has been scheduled on his new filing to date.
In April, Agelasto announced his plan to resign at the end of November, 13 months before his term expires. He has served as the council’s 5th District representative since 2013.

Sonic Coming To Oregon Hill
According to an article in Richmond Bizsense, in addition to a Pita Pit, the 805 W. Cary development will include a non-drive-through Sonic fast food restaurant.
Sonic has signed a lease to take over about 1,500 square feet in the 805W project – a four-story, 100-unit apartment development with about 8,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space that’s under construction at 805 W. Cary St.
Sonic will join Pita Pit as one of the the first commercial tenants of the 805W mixed-use development near VCU.
While it’s known nationally for its traditional drive-in and drive-thru window service, Sonic will forgo its typical store model for the 805W spot in favor of a dine-in concept – the chain’s first in the state.
