This may be too late for some folks, but some streets have ‘No Parking’ signs up for tree trimming…
I understand this pet owner is still missing her cat Sasha:
My cat Sasha was attacked by 2 dogs around 6am Sunday am in front of our home on the 700 block of s laurel. I ran out and managed to make the dogs leave but my cat was really frightened and wouldn’t let me near him. He’s super friendly and loves to eat and he has a lion hair cut.
Police said the incident happened when the three men approached another adult male and robbed him at gunpoint.
The incident happened in the 500 block of South Laurel Street sometime between 7:30 and 7:40 p.m.
Police said the men stole several personal items from the man before running away.
No injuries occurred during the robbery.
Today the City implemented a proposed stop sign change plan in the neighborhood, thus changing a few traffic patterns.
Stop sign locations have been ‘switched’ or ‘flipped’ at China and Laurel, Albemarle and Laurel, China and Pine, Albemarle and Cherry.
Please alert neighbors and other drivers. As one neighbor put it:
Everybody go slow and safe for a week or so. Expect a few bumpers to be bumped but please watch out for bikes as always.
This was found on 600 block of S. Laurel. I am told it had been on sidewalk for over a day or two.
Please get in touch if it’s yours or you know who it belongs to.
Laurel Street neighbor Mary C. Flinn is is seeking an administrative variance to construct a 2 story addition and a 1 story covered porch on the back of her house.
