Thankfully Venture Richmond has ceased spraying herbicide in the Jame River and Kanawha Canal at the request of the Oregon Hill Neighborhood Association. As a result the canal is teaming with amphibians.
It looks like they are turning the canal at Tredegar into a sewer line to collect New Market’s drainage to deposit into the remaining canal. They totally removed the north bank of the historic canal. Looks like they are burying … Continue reading

A report confirms that Venture Richmond is installing stairs on the steep slopes leading into it’s “Tredegar Green” area from the “Brown’s Island Way” street – one where the tow path intersects the street, and two on the upper tier.
