One of the defining characteristics of Oregon Hill architecture is the beautiful decorative sawn scrollwork found on the wooden brackets and balustrades of the porches of the neighborhood. The woodwork provides an elegant and rhythmic pattern that is pleasing to the eye and a source of pride for the builder. Unfortunately, the neighborhood has lost much of its scrollwork in the last few decades when renovators failed to understand the importance of maintaining this distinctive design feature.
Allen Townsend reproduces scrollwork and its gorgeous and extremely reasonable!
Yes, Allen made the wonderful scrollwork photographed bottom!
