Although Oregon Hill has not experienced the violent crime that other neighborhoods have had very recently (knock on wood and keep your eyes peeled!), we have had two burglaries on the 100 block of S. Laurel.

A male reported an unknown male tried to rob him at gunpoint.
I want to pass the word on for everyone to keep their doors locked. My house has been entered twice in a week while at home. My macbook laptop was stolen from downstairs office while I was upstairs. Today I caught someone going out my back door. I chased him for two blocks. He had a black leather jacket with light grey hoodie on so I could not see his face as he was running away. Medium small build.
