How long do these meetings usually last?
An hour or two, depending on attendance and topics
Thanks! I attended the meeting tonight. Do you know how I can get on the email list?
Can OHNA meeting minutes be posted regularly on this site somewhere?
Chris, Jennifer Hancock should be able to get you on the email list as long as yuo are a an Oregon Hill resident. If you run into problems, please let me know.
Angela, I am not against the idea with a few caveats. The minutes need to supplied to me, they need to be voted on by the association members, and I would like the association to approve of me posting them.
I think there has been reluctance to post them in the past because a) it might give lazy people yet another reason to avoid attending the meetings if they can just read about it and express opinions here, b) some of the discussion can be pretty heated and it might discourage people from speaking up if the conversations get posted.
I am a resident, I haven’t been able to find her contact info anywhere online though.
I would like to see the minutes as well…I think it would be helpful so that students might see the (seemingly very negative) impact they (we) are having on neighborhood residents.
Thank you Scott
I take notes at the meetings… When I was OHNA Secretary I would provide copies of the notes at the next meeting. Currently, we do not have a Secretary ~ Is anybody else available to take notes and/or want to be OHNA Secretary?? We could share the responsibility…. I can provide copies of what I did in the past. It takes an hour or two to transpose the notes to an soft copy document worth distributing.
Thanks,
Debbie A.
OHNA Vice President
