You must know my opinion on this. Using Monroe Park While for servicing the homeless attracts a lot of dealers, druggies and hangers on making a travesty out of what should be a jewel. It doesn’t take a lot of shoot outs to do a lot of damage to your neighborhood, the University and the City.
I took my best shot at changing this after Susanne Thompson’s murder and got exactly nowhere. Eventually people just get tired, vote with their feet leave for the suburbs.
